On the plain of Ilion is where we arrived
Myrmidon stood nearly beside//
As I shone in my armor of gold, not defeated once
The unbeatable son of Thetis and Peleus//
I could never be pierced by a sword stroke
But Patroclus was killed as a war toll
His shade fled to the gates of hell
To avenge you I'll retaliate as well
How many Trojans have I left in my wake
They were dead and disgraced, I'ma put somebody's head on a stake
This whole war, for a woman is nonsense
Men's pride was tarnished, now my whole fury is Godsend
My only option left: kill Hektor
De-face the corpse and contain remorse
The human God of War with his armor on
Chased after Hektor when his wife and his father saw
Swift-footed Achilles is upon you, I could strike fear in a ghost
Killed Hektor with a spear in the throat
King Priam consulted me
Even in my rage I allowed him to bury his son properly
Ironically I would die to Paris' hand
When compared to his brother Hektor he wasn't half the man
I chose glory and a war that was gory
Rather than live peacefully now my mother's in mourning
Lion-hearted Achilles, Lion-hearted Achilles
Odysseus take my armor when I die it seems fitting
But, even when the story is told my allegory is gold
